In 1955, L.L. Loach, nicknamed
“Doc” searched for a serene location for an anglers haven. He
purchased four islands consisting of 700 acres and the Isles of
Capri were born. Doc Loach connected the islands by dredging
causeways and built a road linking the island cluster to the
mainland. Canals and homes were built and voila, the perfect
retreat for fishing and boating enthusiasts was
created.
